The Dark Lavender Chiffon® Rose of Sharon is a stunning shrub that delights with its lovely, ruffled anemone-like blooms in a striking medium purple hue. Throughout the summer, an abundance of these beautiful blooms dot the plant’s large, graceful structure creating a captivating display. With its elegant form and prolific flowering, Dark Lavender Chiffon® is perfect for those seeking a vibrant, low-maintenance addition to their landscape. 

  • 8-12 feet tall and 6-10 feet wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 5-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 6-10 feet apart for best results

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners® Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and midsummer. Requires well-draining soil. Regular pruning is not necessary. If any shaping is desired, do so in early spring. Note that Rose of Sharon is quite late to leaf out in spring, so be patient with it.

I ordered five of the quartz size containers. Received plants quickly, no damage to box, packed well. Plants arrived in good condition, a couple plants had a broken branch, one plant in particular is definitely gonna need a little more TLC. Overall good experience and I would purchase again.

I love PW plants but have not had good luck with plants ordered online?? They all look like dry sticks very little new growth on any of them . Hoping with more time they will wake up?? Just looking at two of my hydrangeas that are completely dead that I planted last year 🙉😭. Hopefully all the other plants are going to fare better!! I planted over 70 mostly proven winners last summer and fall season.

One reason I ordered from Proven Winner Direct was at first because when you order, you do not get 3 or 4 inch potted plants. I ordered gallon size which my belief gives a plant more strength to start growing in new environment. The plant when I received it had blooms on it and it had good size. The amazing thing to me actually was how fast I received my product. It did not take weeks to get the plants. At the end of the day hopefully the plant grows into an impressive site.
