'Coffee Cups' is a dark-stemmed tropical beauty that truly lives up to its name! The large, dark green cupped leaves will collect rainwater (not coffee!) until there's enough that stem bends under the weight, pouring water out. The medium-tall height allows for a wide range of planting options and the ability to create amazing, layered looks.

  • 36-60 inches tall and 30-48 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 8-11
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 36-60 inches apart for best results
  • Maintains deep olive foliage with mocha veins spring tofrost
  • Great for containers, landscapes, as a specimen or focal point
  • Foliage interest, heat tolerant, deadheading not necessary, water plant

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Prefers moist to wet soil.

Please note: According to the Humane Society of America Colocasia plants can be toxic to pets. This plant is not edible and can be harmful to humans if ingested.
