I tried 2 of these in my zone 9b, very hot, full sun(6+ hours) garden. Both are planted into pots. One is in no more than 6 hours of sun and the other is in 8+ hours, of absolute full sun. They were both planted in early spring. As light as the foliage is, I thought for sure as soon as prolonged hot sun hit them, the one that is in 8 hours sun was going to be a goner. However, it is doing the best of both of them!! This is a vigorous, well growing plant in my zone. Which is saying A LOT! We have sustained temps of over 100° and this plant has absolutely no sun burn. Even with its delicate variegated foliage. Definitely recommend . It also has a very vine 'ivy' like growth habit, a bit different that other potato vine I've tried. It's more coming than mounding in containers, which I appreciate.
Thank you for sharing your review of your Tricolor Sweet Potato Vines. We're so happy to hear that you are enjoying your plants!

First plant didn’t survive shipping. The replacement is doing real good with steady growth. It’s a keeper!
Enjoy! 😍
I combined the Prince Tut (thriller), supertunia Bubblegum (filler) and Ipomoea Sweet Caroline Tricolor (spiller). It's unique, gorgeous, and bursting out of the container! I love that I could select the exact color combination I wanted, and the Tricolor Ipomoea is what makes it so unique and cohesive. Absolutely recommend both these particular plants AND Proven Winners for making them available. Great experience!!
It's doing well in a 10 inch pot, however I think next year I will grow some in hanging baskets. Coping well with the heat and drought.
