Incrediball® Blush Smooth Hydrangea (arborescens)

I ordered six smooth blush incredible hydrangeas all are green except 1 which bloom pink

I've ordered several hydrangeas from Proven Winners with almost all being in decent condition. This one, on the other hand, was in rough shape. The plastic bag covering the plant was secured with a rubber band too tightly over the stem and half the plant seemed to have been squished with the root ball all but torn apart.

Usually this isn't a big deal but this plant was so small I had to cut it back and am now hoping this little stem will establish and regrow its foliage this season. In hindsight, probably would have been better off spending an extra $20 to buy more mature plant from the nursery, albeit it wouldn't have been the blush as they don't carry it yet

I ordered two of the quart sized incrediball blush hydrangeas last year and they are showing off their first blooms. I love the blush, really pops next to my original incrediballs. One plant is all blush and the other plant is blooming half white, half blush?? How do I keep the plant all blush?

This hydrangea came looking retry rough and bedraggled, but I still set it in its pot where I planned to plant it. Within a couple of days, the hydrangea turned black with fungus. The fungus spread to 2 hydrangeas I had nearby, one of which is now dead and the other is struggling along after heavy anti fungal treatment. Buy with caution! If it looks questionable when you unpack, I would keep it quarantined prior to planting.

Hydrangeas arrived in unacceptable condition. Black spot, rust, mildew, broken branches, bug damage etc. Needed to be cleaned up and quarantined to my "plant hospital "area. They were packaged fine which means they sent them as is. Blooms or even hope of a bud is not in the cards. The are small, sick and a waste of money. Definitely do not recommend buying direct. Only buy what you can see. I tried to call customer service and was directed to email my complaint with pics as they were inundated with a high-volume of calls. I did that and requested healthy replacement plants or a total refund. Otherwise, BBB complaint. I wish I could attach pictures.

Beautiful shrub! It arrived well-packaged and healthy. It is growing very well in my extra large pot and is beginning to bloom. I can’t wait to see the blush snowballs when they are fully open.

The plant looks healthy and dormant. It was shipped very well as usual. I am excited to see it grow and bloom. These will be my favorite if they look like the pics.

If could give No Stars, this would be the review. Shame on PWD for sending out those “plants”. Shipping did not do the damage to the plants that I received. The stems are broken and hardened and browned. I ordered 7 hydrangeas and if i planted them atleast 5 of them would be a 1 to 2 inch STEM sticking out of the ground. The 1 hydrangea that looks seemingly healthy, is barely attached to the rootball. Extremely dissatisfied customer. 11 hydrangeas ordered in total, none of which are ready for inground planting.

I ordered 11 of the incrediball blush end of Dec 2024. They were shipped dormant as expected. I babied them all winter and anxiously waited for growth. All but one began to grow (I'm still hanging onto the one that hasn't grown hoping is just slow bit the woody base has no green when scratched). Of the 10 remaining, I'm very confident 2 are not incrediball blush. Foliage is very different and there's a stark difference in growth pattern/height, plus the emerging buds aren't the same. I'm kind of disappointed as all 11 were going to make a hedge. Not to mention I'm out almost $100. I purchased through PW to guarantee I could get all 11 shrubs.

These were very nicely packaged and the plants were very healthy. They even had some baby buds on them when they arrived! Can't wait to see them thrive!

While the flowers are small they are in full bloom on the plant. The plant arrived healthy and with beautiful foliage as well.

I love the blush color and the plant is healthy with good growth for its second year but half of the flowers are white. It’s certainly an interesting look but unfortunately not what I’m going for. I’ll have to cut half of the plant back and just hope there isn’t more white.

I bought 5 plants, but one arrived dead and the other four are very damaged (see pictures). Paying $169.95 to receive plants that look like this is a joke. I am so disappointed. I have contacted Proven Winners twice, but still have not heard back.

The 6 hydrangeas I ordered came packaged with little to no protection. 4 of them jammed into one box! The majority of them looked like they had been drop-kicked off a climb. They had many broken limbs & leaves. I reached out to Proven Winners 3 days ago so far work no response back. I spent too much money <$260 on this order> with this company to experience this lack of care from them!! I've been patiently waiting for a response back with a resolution but my patience is not eternal.
