The Dragon Wing Red Begonia displays abundant red flowers all summer, and is exceptionally heat tolerant. It's a great plant for filling open shady spaces. Deadheading is not necessary for continued bloom, so you'll have fantastic color without any of the trouble.

14-18 inches tall and 15-18 inches wide at maturity
Hardy in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
Plant in shade to part shade (6 or less hours daily)
Space plants 15-18 inches apart for best results
Produces red flowers during planting to frost
Maintains green foliage spring to frost
Great for containers, patio planters, hanging baskets, beds, landscapes
Heat tolerant, deadheading not necessary, long blooming, continuous blooming, foliage interest

Care: Can be overwintered indoors, they do not go dormant so do not allow to become very dry. Keep lightly moist and lightly fertilized with Proven Winners^® Premium Water Soluble Plant Food through the winter months.
