Hungarian Sweet Wax Pepper from Proven Selections has an excellent, mild flavor that is perfect for salads, sandwiches and stuffed peppers. Add diced peppers to relish and salsa for added sweetness to temper the heat of other peppers. It is quick and easy to grow in containers and gardens. Dry, freeze or pickle for later use.
- 18-24 inches tall and 24-36 inches wide at maturity
- Annual except in zones 10-11
- Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
- Space plants 24-36 inches apart for best results
- Produces 3 inch long, tapered, yellow peppers from summer to frost
- Great for landscapes, containers, raised beds, and edible gardens
Care: Easy to care for. It loves heat and will thrive through the summer months. Fruit can be harvested until first frost. Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance.
