Goodhearted is a semi-determinate container tomato that will prolifically produce cherry-sized tomatoes with great taste. The compact size works well in patio planters, window boxes and would be a fun hanging basket plant where it will cascade and allow for easy harvest, and you'll be amazed with how easy they are to grow!

  • 8-12 inches tall and 12-18 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 18-24 inches apart for best results
  • Produces edible fruits summer to frost
  • Great for containers, raised beds and vegetable gardens
  • Heat tolerant, long season, high yield, late blight resistant

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Grow in the landscape or 14" to 18" diamter container. It should not need to be staked or caged to grow it successfully. Consistent watering and regular fertilization will be key to keeping your plant in full production mode. These plants will produce tomatoes for an extended period of time and thrives in heat and humidity.

I ordered 2 of these to try out, and so far they are great. They arrived well packed and healthy!! Since I transplanted and fed with liquid fertilizer, these plants are flowering like crazy. I can't wait to see the harvest.

One plant did well, but the other 2 not so much. I did an experiment with leaving one plant in its can and the other not. Both produced great the following month, however the plant left in its can was less prolific. Next year I will place these in the ground to see if I have better results.
