White Licorice is stunning with its silver-white, velvety foliage that adds a touch of elegance to any space. This heat and drought-tolerant beauty thrives in various conditions and requires minimal care, as it doesn't need deadheading to maintain its striking appearance. Perfect for hanging baskets, landscape beds, borders, and window boxes, White Licorice brings texture and visual interest wherever it's planted. Its soft, silvery foliage creates a sophisticated contrast with colorful blooms, making it an ideal choice for gardeners seeking a low-maintenance yet high-impact addition to their garden or home.

  • 8-12 inches tall and 18-20 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-10
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 18-20 inches apart for best results
  • Maintains silvery foliage spring through frost
  • Great for containers and landscapes
  • Heat and drought tolerant

The Eco+Grande features nutrients embedded in the container walls, which help plants grow bigger and faster throughout the season when planted in the ground. Be sure to remove the tabs from the container before planting. If you choose to plant in a container, we recommend taking the plant out of the Eco+Grande, breaking it apart, and mixing it into the soil at the time of planting. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product. Learn more about this in our blog.

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance.

These plants arrived in good shape from the shipping. They are beautiful. Can't wait to see them grow. Will order more of these.

This was a last minute add on to my order. I was looking for something like the white sagebrush or silver falls dichondria but was unsure of the availability of either in my area. This plant is like a combination of the two. It has the beautiful silvery white color with a sort of bushy/trailing growth habit. Plump leaves like a succulent. This was going to be for my front (west) facing flower pots but I decided to pair them with some blushing rose begonias in the back flower pots instead. They get full on morning sun until about noon. Fertilize once a week with PW water soluble fertilizer. Zone 6 Colorado.

These annuals arrived in good shape and size comparable to what I'd buy in the store. Hate the eco containers though. They say you can just bury the entire thing. Maybe ok in the landscape, but ridiculous jamming all those into a decorative container. The plant is difficult to extricate as well.

Thank you for sharing! The Eco+ containers can be planted, composted, or even just thrown away! Even if you choose to throw your Eco+ containers away, they will still break down in the landfill hundreds of years faster than traditional plastic containers.
