Let your garden chill out in style with Still Waters™ Clematis—a serene showstopper that turns heads from late spring through late summer. Its large, icy violet-blue blooms are like a breath of fresh air, dramatically set off by rich, dark red stamens that give each flower an irresistible edge.
Despite its delicate looks, this vine is anything but fussy. Still Waters™ is an easygoing grower, thriving on fences, trellises, or wherever you want to add a cascade of cool color. It’s also disease resistant, rabbit resistant, and ready to impress without demanding the spotlight (or your constant attention).

- Resists rabbits and disease
- Great for borders, containers, landscapes, trellises, decks or as a focal point
- Long blooming
Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Requires well-draining soil. Prefers fertile soil that is neutral or a bit alkaline. Best in full sun or light shade, keep base and roots completely shaded. "Feet in the shade, head in the sun" is a saying you may have heard for successfully growing clematis, so plant it where the vine gets sunshine but the roots stay cool. You can accomplish this with mulch, or by shading the root zone with a nearby shrub or perennial. Benefits from staking, cages, or neighboring plants for support. Each spring, they can be trimmed down to 2-3' tall, but not required.
