‘Perfect Profusion’ salvia is a staple for every sunny garden. It asks for little more than sunshine and an occasional drink, yet rewards you with a prolific mass of colorful flower spires from late spring into early summer. The plant forms a uniform, perfectly rounded clump of aromatic, rugose green foliage that stays attractive all season and is reliably ignored by rabbits and deer. Count on excellent rebloom, too! This variety will flower multiple times throughout summer if spent stems are cut back, making it one of the very best salvias for consistent rebloom. Soft, icy blue flowers completely cover the tidy mound, and the sheer density of stems is sure to catch your eye as you walk by.

  • 16-20 inches tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 3-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 16-20 inches apart for best results
  • Produces icy blue flowers during late spring to early summer
  • Maintains green foliage spring to fall
  • Great for borders, containers, cut flowers, dried flowers, mass plantings
  • Attracts bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and resists deer, rabbits
  • Reblooming, salt tolerant
  • Perennials shipped Nov-Apr will arrive dormant; perennials shipped Apr-Oct will arrive green or in bloom

Care: Easy to grow in almost any climate in full sun. Drought tolerant but blooms better with average moisture. Cut back after flowering to promote rebloom.
