Low Scape Snowfire® brings the drama of fire and ice(snow) to your landscape with an unmatched display of seasonal contrast. In spring, it’s all about the snow—masses of fluffy white blooms nearly cover its glossy green foliage, attracting pollinators with both beauty and buzz. As summer rolls in, the flowers give way to clusters of deep blue berries, providing a valuable food source for birds and wildlife.

But the grand finale comes in fall, when the foliage ignites in vibrant shades of red and burgundy—turning even the simplest planting into a showpiece. Tough, compact, and incredibly low maintenance, Low Scape Snowfire® offers striking three-season interest with minimal effort. Ideal for mass plantings, borders, or naturalized areas, it’s proof that high performance doesn’t have to come with high demands.

  • 4-6 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 3-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 3-4 feet apart for best results
  • Produces white flowers in spring that give way to deep blue berries
  • Blooms on old wood
  • Maintains shiny green foliage in spring and summer that lights up in fall with tones of red and burgundy
  • Great for borders, containers, erosion control, edges, landscapes, mass planting or as a focal point
  • Attracts bees and butterflies
  • Fall interest, foliage interest, heat tolerant, drought tolerant, salt tolerant, native to North America

Care:  Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Aronia blooms on old wood, so if pruning is required, it should be pruned immediately after flowering. Do note, however, that this will remove the potential for fruit to form. If you need to manage the spread of the plant, that can be done as needed.
