Tiny fruit, big personality! Also known as Mexican Sour Gherkin or Mouse Melon, cucamelons look like miniature watermelons but taste like crisp cucumbers with a hint of citrus. These adorable grape-sized fruits grow on vigorous, vining plants that produce abundantly all season long. Perfect for snacking fresh off the vine, tossing into salads, or pickling for a tangy treat, cucamelons bring fun and flavor to any garden or kitchen. The vines are easy to grow, highly productive, and drought-tolerant once established—ideal for trellises, fences, or containers.

  • 48-84 inches tall and wide at maturity

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance, starting when flowers appear. A trellis will be needed for support. Pinch back to encourage branching. Harvest fruit when they are grape-sized to encourage more.
