Meet the Fairytrail Bride®, North America's very first Cascade Hydrangea, and prepare to be amazed! This hydrangea’s trailing stems are adorned with gorgeous white lace-like flowers at every leaf node, creating a dramatic cascade of blooms. Whether used in hanging baskets, containers, or spilling over retaining walls, Fairytrail Bride® offers endless possibilities to enhance your garden with its beauty. It’s the perfect plant for creating a stunning, flowing display that will impress all season long!

  • 4 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 5-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 4 feet apart for best results
  • Produces white lace flowers throughout spring
  • Maintains green foliage from spring through frost
  • Blooms on old wood
  • Great for borders, containers, cut flower, dried flower, landscapes, mass plantings and focal points

  • Long blooming and deadheading not necessary

Care:  Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prefers moist, well-draining soil. It does not respond well to any period of extended sogginess. Avoid pruning Cascade hydrangeas, except to remove any dead wood. These hydrangeas cannot be cut back or trimmed at any time of the year without impacting the bloom for either the current season or the next.

Received my order here in zone 9b, plant arrived for the most part intact with minor damage to foliage. Plant appears to be establishing itself well in its new home. I can’t wait until spring next yr to watch it grow into its glory.

2024 I ordered 5 of these. They arrived in good healthy condition. I planted them with great care and tended them accordingly. 3/5 survived thru spring 2025. So, I ordered an additional gallon sized plant this spring 2025 thinking I could make a focal point in the garden. A huge gorgeous gorgeous healthy plant arrived. Unfortunately, these beauties can NOT survive our WV full sun. They even struggle in partial shade. They faint to the ground and burn to a dead crisp on the tips of most leaves. I have taken 3 from the flower bed and planted in pots placing where they barely get sun. I doubt they will be able to bloom this way. PW packs and delivers beautiful plants. I am just so disappointed with my situation. 8(

This is one stunning plant! I bought one as an anchor for the middle of my lawn, but I’m concerned that it might be getting too much sun? When I saw 6+ hours, I was thrilled. Should I move it to a shadier location.

It is usually recommended to put hydrangeas in an area with part sun in warmer zones, but if it is doing well for you, you can keep it where it is! Always make sure you are giving it plenty of water as well. Hydrangeas need a lot of water in order to thrive, especially when they are still adjusting to a new environment. The hydrangea looks good when it came. However, when I transplanted to the big pot, it was SO root bound that I don't know if it will survive. I'm disappointed with the root bound condition. I keep watering it.
