Like a glass of sparkling wine in the garden, Bubbly Wine® weigela fizzes with color and charm all season long. In spring, it wakes up with fresh, lively new growth, quickly swirling into a delightful medley of yellow and green variegation for summer. Just when you think it couldn’t get more enchanting, light purple flowers dance across the rounded little shrub, their soft petals creating a sweet contrast against the lively foliage. As the seasons turn, dark burgundy stems quietly appear, like the rich undertones in a fine vintage, adding yet another note of interest. Deer, thankfully, seem to overlook this cheerful display, leaving the show entirely for you to enjoy. Petite, playful, and brimming with character, this compact beauty makes an irresistible edging, a storybook hedge, or a whimsical accent that sparkles wherever it’s planted.
