Double the Delight! Why choose between growing flowers or fruit? Berried Treasure® Red Strawberry has red semi-double flowers that produce edible, snack-size red strawberries all season. Best grown in containers, where the fruit can be shown off and easily picked but can work in the garden too.There's nothing better than something that is easy to grow, deliciously sweet and delicately charming as well!
- 12-16 inches tall and 18-24 inches wide at maturity
- Annual except in zones 4-9
- Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
- Space plants 18-24 inches apart for best results
- Produces edible fruits during spring until first frost, plants will continue to fruit in temperatures between 35–85°F
- Great for containers, baskets or raised beds
- Disease resistant, edible, rebloomer, long blooming, heat tolerant
Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Keeping the soil evenly moist and regular fertilizing will produce the most prolific berry crop. You may need to do some light cleaning of spent flowers.
