The Heart to Heart® 'Chinook' caladium is a stunning plant with heart-shaped leaves in a beautiful blend of salmon and pink, accented by green edges. Its graceful color combination adds a soft yet striking touch to any landscape. Due to its stature, it makes an excellent border or intermediate plant in garden beds and borders, while also serving as a dramatic thriller in containers or hanging baskets.
Thriving in both sun and shade, the 'Chinook' caladium is versatile and easy to incorporate into various garden settings. It is also adaptable as a houseplant, where it prefers bright light or a sunny window to showcase its vibrant foliage. Whether in the garden or as part of your indoor décor, this caladium brings a unique pop of color and elegance to any space.
- 15-20 inches tall and 10-14 inches wide at maturity
- Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success

Care: If you live in a northern climate, be careful not to plant too early in spring as temperatures below 60 degrees F will chill and stunt plants. Caladiums like to be moist at all times so avoid allowing them to dry out. Fertilize with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food at ¼ - ½ strength every week throughout the season.
Houseplant: Caladiums can also be grown as houseplants where they prefer bright light or a sunny window. Keep the temperatures above 65 degrees F for best growth and leaf size, and a pebble tray or frequent misting can help to keep the humidity up around your plants.
According to the ASPCA, caladiums are toxic to animals if consumed.
