Decadence® 'Lemon Meringue' is a hardy and durable false indigo that features towers of bright yellow petals atop charcoal-gray, thick stems. The contrast of dark stems with light flowers really pops in the landscape, delivering an excellent floral display starting in late spring and continuing into summer, followed by decorative seed pods in the fall. It’s compact and dense - perfect for adding structure to landscapes, perennial gardens, native gardens, and borders. This variety is native to North America, tolerant of drought and salt, resistant to deer, and attractive to both bees and butterflies.
