Superbena® Violet Ice displays vigorous purple flowers all season. With a mounding-trailing habit, they function as both spillers and fillers in combination planters and are best planted at the front of landscape beds. It is heat tolerant, resists deer, and attracts butterflies.
- 6-12 inches tall and 18-30 inches wide at maturity
- Annual except in zones 8-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
- Plant in full to part sun (4+ hours daily)
- Space plants 10-14 inches apart for best results
- Produces violet purple flowers during planting to frost
- Maintains green foliage spring to frost
- Great for borders, containers, groundcover, landscapes, mass plantings
- Attracts butterflies and resists deer
- Continuous blooming, long blooming, fall interest, heat tolerant, deadheading not necessary
Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. They shouldn't need to be trimmed back but can be pruned to shape anytime if desired.
