This self-cleaning petunia features vibrant purple blooms. Customers praised "beautiful lush blooming plants" with "wonderful color" and healthy arrival. However, many reported shipping issues with wilted, dry plants, broken containers, and loose soil. Some plants died despite care. Self-cleaning feature appreciated, though spreading can be slow initially.

Supertunia® Royal Velvet® Petunia

New to me this year, delivered in good condition.

Supertunia® Royal Velvet® Petunia

The Supertunia Royal Velvet Petunias are among my favorite of the Proven Winners order I make every year and this year is no exception. They are lovely!

Supertunia® Royal Velvet® Petunia

This review is to all the plants I received. I planted them correctly upon receiving them - right now they don't look to promising. I have given them plenty of water - planted all of them in potting soil in hanging baskets.
They are sitting on the deck - nice weather here in Georgia - not to hot and not to cold. Well, we do have a lot of pollen in the air right now.
I wish I could send a picture, but I do not have that ability.

Thank you for reaching out and providing us with photos. I am happy to help! 🙂

As living things, plants always have the potential to become stressed or mishandled during shipping. The good news is that this is almost always only a cosmetic issue, that does not impact a plant’s overall health, because they have a strong root system! Proven Winners plants are very resilient and typically bounce back. The vast majority of plants recover quickly once they are unpacked and planted.

If you do not see improvements within the next few weeks after planting, please reach back out to me with updated photos to our helpdesk@provenwinnersdirect.com

Supertunia® Royal Velvet® Petunia

Very pretty flower. Not quite the same vivid color as this picture, but nice just the same. The "Blue" one is light purple, not blue at all like the picture, but it blends in well with the rest I purchased.

Supertunia® Royal Velvet® Petunia

Petunia’s are the only flower I can grow in my small green house, they with stand the heat beautifully.

Supertunia® Royal Velvet® Petunia

Beautiful plant, it was delivered in really good condition. I used these plants in my containers, they are really taken off, they are really starting to spread out. I would recommend this plant to anyone that are doing containers and borders.

Thank you for sharing!! Enjoy 😍
