Sweet Caroline Sweetheart Lime boasts brilliant lime green, heart-shaped leaves that bring a refreshing pop of color to any garden. This heat-tolerant beauty requires no deadheading, making it a low-maintenance addition to your landscape. It excels as a ground cover, spreading quickly to fill in spaces, and also works wonderfully as a foliage component in mixed plant combinations. However, due to its vigorous growth, it may sometimes overwhelm less vigorous plants, so regular maintenance is recommended. Sweet Caroline Sweetheart Lime is cultivated as an ornamental plant and is not intended for consumption. 

  • 6-16 inches tall and 20-36 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zone 11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 10-12 inches apart for best results
  • Maintains lime chartreuse foliage spring through frost

I love this variety so much more than what is sold in my local nurseries or big box stores. I was so happy to see PW’s still grew this and was available online. It grows cleaner & keeps its steady color in my full Houston sun vs other varieties. Gorgeous!!!I

This company is too expensive. Their prices make you not want to plant flowers at all. The plants do not ship well. They look sick when you get them. However they do come back to life. Overall I am pleased with the look of my baskets but wish they were more affordable

Arrived quickly and well boxed and protected. Nicely trimmed. Added to indoor arraignment for color. Already thriving after a few days and even had to remove some of the spreading leaves.

My plants arrived in horrible condition, and it was very obvious that was due to the way they were handled by the shipper. I planted them right away, since all the soil was in the bottom of the box, and they struggled for a couple days but rallied and are doing fine. I feel sure that is due to the excellant shape they were in when they left Proven Winners. Very happy with the plants. The shipping, not so much.....
