Superbena Whiteout displays vigorous white flowers all season. With a mounding-trailing habit, they function as both spillers and fillers in combination planters and are best planted at the front of landscape beds. It is heat tolerant, resists deer, and attracts butterflies. 

  • 6-12 inches tall and 18-30 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 8-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 10-14 inches apart for best results
  • Produces white flowers through hard frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring through frost
  • Great for borders, containers, groundcover, landscapes, and mass planting
  • Attracts butterflies and resists deer
  • Heat and drought tolerant, continuous bloomer, long blooming, fall interest, deadheading not necessary

These 2 new Whiteout Verbenas are looking great!

These 2 new Whiteout Verbenas are looking great…
However, I bought 3 last year to go in a different pot…..one of those died, one looks great and the third looks scraggly…many brown leggy stems….Is there anything I can do to help that one?

We're sorry to hear that one of your plants from last year didn't make it and another is looking scraggly. It sounds like they may have experienced different growing conditions. To help the scraggly one, we recommend trimming back any brown, leggy stems and providing it with plenty of sunlight and regular watering. We hope this helps! Came in packaged very secure. Healthy plants watered them as soon as they arrived. Love these plants they bloom bigger, brighter, just an all-around better plant. These come back every year if mulched well here in zone 9. These lovely plants are so hardy here they want to grow across the yard! I will always return to you proven winners.

Superbena® Whiteout™ Verbena

I ordered 12 of these for mid May delivery. They had to stay in their containers for a couple of weeks while I moved them in and out of the garage do to weather. The plants arrived healthy and in good condition. Got them planted up the first week in June in my front flower bed along with Bermuda beach and Black Cherry supertunias. After a couple of weeks, they really took off and are stunning. Blooming beautifully. I do fertilize at least once a week with PW water soluble fertilzer. They get water in the morning from the sprinklers and full on scorching sun from about noon on. They are on the west side of the house. I'm zone 6 Colorado.

While one of the 4 plants I ordered looked really root-bound, others are settling in pretty well and putting on dainty white mounds of joy!
I can't wait to see them grow and put on a show next season! Being in Sacramento, zone 9b, I am very excited to try PW plants to see how they work in our zone. As a newbie gardener, I am adding color to my home garden and am looking forward to trying more PW plants.

Received my order on the date that I was told it would be here. (Shipped on Monday; arrived on Wednesday). Plants were in great shape. Very healthy. All of the verbenas had either buds or blooms. Great service from this greenhouse. Definitely will be ordering again from them!
