Little Lime® Panicle Hydrangea (paniculata)

The most recent purchase of the little lime was for my sister who lives in zone 7. She absolutely loves this gorgeous little beauty who arrived with beautiful green buds already. The photo pictured below is of my own little lime in its 2nd year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND; gorgeous blooms! Can’t wait to see what it looks like this year

I ordered 2 Little Lime hydrangeas online for the first time this past spring, only to receive them a month later as scheduled. I have to admit, I was sceptical about online ordering these plants, but to my utmos surprise, the plants were so well packaged that they survived a week of heat waves and travel from BC to QC.
My plants have grown and are still blooming into pink hues as we go into the fall season. Would not hesitate to do this again next season.

Plants arrived in very poor condition. Expected more from Proven Winners. Poorly groomed and had weeds growing in the soil. Doing my best to keep them alive but not very hopeful.

Not looking good. Hope they will rebound but likely dead.

I ordered 9 little lime hydranges. They came beautifully Packed and looked amazing. I had a couple that were very thin and starting to go down, out of 9 I did not think that was bad. I emailed the company and they were amazing at just sending me more by fedex with no issues. I cannot wait to plan thieves and make a hydrange line border in my yard. I ended up getting the 4.5 quarts to start small and place them right. I know within the next year, i'm sure they'll be just as big at the gallons. I am very pleased with my order. I am very pleased how they handled the couple flowers and I will definitely order more from this company a hundred percent 5 Stars 🌟

I love hydrangeas & my granddaughter does too. She will be getting married in 2027 after she finishes college. Her chosen flowers are hydrangeas. It’s my hope to be able to provide my hydrangeas for centerpieces on the tables.
All 5 of the hydrangeas I purchased arrived in great condition. Finally got them planted yesterday & today. Now if the deer will leave them alone.

Plants arrived in good shape. They were smaller than I thought,but couldn’t find them in Lowe’s or Hone depot.

Wonderful Plants

This Quart plant was about 2" tall. I found a gallon size at local nursery with long branches and 3 flowers for only double the price. Not at all pleased.

I have ordered plants/flowers from various other online places over the years and have always been underwhelmed when they arrived or how they grew. I received my order today from Proven Winners Direct and WOW, I was impressed the moment I opened the box! A beautiful Little Lime Hydrangea greeted me! Much larger than I expected, multiple beautiful blooms already on it! It is a happy, healthy plant. I was ridiculously excited about this ( more than any one person should be) and I immediately read the directions and got to work digging the hole and planting the Hydrangea. I can’t wait to see how it does in the next few weeks, months and years! 100% have my future business!!

This is the third season planted in my garden. It is pretty, but this year it started to have a little extra poof on the top of the blooms which look like the new puffer fish bloom structure. Is this normal? The poof is white, while the blooms green. It's looking weird .

I was very happy with three out of the four shrubs I received. One is just very small and not full at all, certainly not one I would have picked out. The other three were beautiful. They were packaged with care and arrived in good condition.

Wonderful healthy plant has survived a very rough ride. During the shipping my plant fell out of the box, someone picked it up and placed it back in the box. When I opened the “up” side of the box I saw the bottom of the container. My plant was basically standing on the panicles)) I let my plant recover and now it’s happily growing in the ground. That’s the quality of the plants from PW!

It looked pretty good to have been in shipping box for 3 1/2 days. Planted as soon as I got it. it’s been 6 days. Not looking very good. I called and the lady I spoke with was very helpful. I need to give it a week or 2. Hopefully it will recover. They are very very nice folks to deal with. I will order again.

I got two of these beauties just under two months ago and popped them in front of the house for my medium-sized hedge. They are thriving and have already grown tremendously! They were in quart sized containers but as you can see from my photos they’ve just about tripled in size.

I’m in zone 6b, used a premium organic raised bed soil amended with compost and rose fertilizer, and I dusted a little mycorrhizae powder on their roots when I planted them. Recipe for success here! Thank you PWD for these lovelies!

Little Lime arrived in excellent condition. Planted next day and is doing well. This is my third year buying from PWD and am always pleased with quality and service.
