Get ready to debate! Are the flowers on Bloomerang Purpink® a lovely shade purple or are they pale pink? We couldn’t decide, so we combined them in the name to let you decide. The real conversation starts when you see just how many blooms it puts out in the spring and again later on in the summer. It’s one of the most prolific rebloomers in our series, which is saying something! It belongs in a highly visible spot in your garden, like near a front door or by your driveway.
3-5 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide at maturity
Hardy in zones 3-7, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
Space plants 2-3 feet apart for best results
Maintains green foliage spring through frost
Produces fragrant, pale purple-pink flowers in late spring and again in summer through fall
Blooms on new and old wood
Great for borders, containers, cut flowers, landscapes, mass plantings
Attracts bees and butterflies while resisting deer and rabbits
Reblooming, long blooming, fall interest, disease resistant
Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid summer. A light trim is recommended just after spring bloom. This will give the plant a tidy appearance and encourage a more abundant rebloom, although it will delay it a bit. Trimming isn’t necessary to get the plant to rebloom.
