Double Up™ Pink displays fully double pink flowers all season on dark bronze/black foliage. It is heat tolerant and does not require deadheading for continued bloom. Plant this vigorous begonia in the landscape and in containers of all kinds.

  • 8-18 inches tall and 8-14 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in sun or shade
  • Space plants 6-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces pink flowers planting to frost
  • Maintains dark bronze to black foliage spring through frost
  • Great for borders, containers, edges, landscapes and mass planting
  • Heat tolerant, continuous bloomer, long blooming, deadheading not necessary

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. They can tolerate some drought conditions, but will look their best with more consistent moisture and regular feeding.

Double Up™ Pink Begonia (semperflorens)

AMAZING PLANT! Cant say enough good things about this begonia. It grew all summer on my shaded north facing porch, Cape Cod, and was absolutely covered with beautiful blooms all season into the fall. I brought it inside for the winter and it's still growing and blooming! I'm hoping to bring it out again in the spring.

I have ordered plants from Proven winners direct before and plant size and root development has been great. This time I was very disappointed in the root development. It looked like a cutting was stuck in the dirt and shipped. I gave it a 3 because I have been gardening for years and know begonias are tough plants otherwise I would have given a lower rating.

Some crunchy dry edges

They had some crunchy dry edges but I removed those and they look fine now.

coming around; arrived abit beat up half the box was smuched

This order arrived with 2/4plants with their pots split down the sides.
The pink tuberous begonia had bruised, broken leaves and the flowers knocked off.
The plant was sent obviously healthy and is recovering.

We're sorry to see that your plants have experienced some shipping difficulties in transit. Have they perked up/put on new growth since planting?

They were very sad looking. They were so saturated that the leaves basically just fell off like they rotted. I hope they survive.
