The new ColorBlaze® Cherry Drop Coleus foliage displays a spectacular, fiery show of luxurious red leaves, yellow centers and green margins. It is a highly saturated and impressive plant that is heat tolerant and adaptable as a houseplant when placed in a bright area. Deadheading is not necessary, making it an easy-to-care-for plant to add to containers as a thriller or your landscape to brighten up a shady corner. May have blue flowers, but the plant is grown for its foliage.
  • 14-18 inches tall and 18-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in sun or shade
  • Space plants 12-18 inches apart for best results
  • Maintains multicolored foliage spring through frost
  • Great for borders, containers, landscapes, mass plantings
  • Resists deer
  • Heat tolerant, foliage interest, adaptable as a houseplant, deadheading not necessary

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Many people feel that coleus look best before they flower. We have worked hard to choose coleus that bloom late in the season or not at all. To keep foliage in top shape, pinch off the blooms as they appear if you wish.

 Shipping Info:

Beautiful coleus with vibrant colors that customers loved for gardens and hanging baskets. Many praised plants arriving in great condition and packaged well. However, some reported small, dry, or stressed plants on arrival, with shipping damage noted. Customers said leaves are smaller than traditional coleus. Growth improves with care.

Such beautiful plants! They arrived in great shape and packaged well. I’m very pleased with the colors and great growth of these cherry drop coleus. I fertilized weekly and enjoyed them through frost!

When it arrives it was kind of sad

When it arrives it was kind of sad looking and hasn’t recovered very well yet. I will reserve an opinion until further into the season.

They arrived in perfect condition. I bought 20. I'm using them in hanging baskets around my front porch. Also, as the main color in my front bed. I wanted something with constant color without the vigor of vistas. I love my boxwood and wanted both to shine.

Beautiful and thriving!! Thank you for sharing!! Enjoy 😍

These plants arrived terribly damaged by poor shipping and handling . The box looked like it had been dropped several times . Plants were broken and foil dumped out into the box . It’s sad to receive plants in such terrible condition. We are waiting to hear back from Proven Winners who say they guarantee all of their plants .

Unfortunately I don’t love these. The leave are very small, almost tiny. I am used to large coleus leaves. They are growing great and are very healthy. I think it’s just not what I am used to.

All plants came in great condition. I am nursing them at the moment because it’s still freezing most nights. Hopefully I can get them planted soon.
