Meet Prairie Winds® 'Cheyenne Sky'—a little dynamo of color and charm! This petite red switch grass forms with a dense, upright clump of blue-green leaves that transform into a rich wine red by early summer. But the show doesn't stop there! In late summer, stunning purple flower panicles rise above the foliage, adding a burst of color to your garden or patio. Perfect for containers, this beauty packs big personality into a small space, making it the ideal plant to spice up your outdoor oasis with a touch of elegance and whimsy!

  • Produces purple flowers late summer through fall

Ordered three Prairie Winds Cheyenne Sky. They arrived on time, were packaged well. All three were very root bound but that’s better than not being rooted in well as many that I have gotten from PWD have been. One is a very nice plant and standing upright in the garden. The other two, even tho they are the same size, are leggy and sprawling all over the place. Hopefully, when they come up next spring they will stand better. As for now I will have to support them. Disappointed in the condition of the plants for what they cost.
