'Serendipity' Ornamental Onion (Allium hybrid)

Our perennials are currently going dormant. The foliage and blooms begin to brown and die back. We provide a hard trim in the greenhouse to support this process. During dormancy, plants go inactive to conserve their energy for the next growing season. This happens naturally as seasons change!

When the foliage is bruised, it smells like onions since they are in the onion family.
