'Firefly Peach Sky' Yarrow (Achillea hybrid)

Our perennials are currently going dormant. The foliage and blooms begin to brown and die back. We provide a hard trim in the greenhouse to support this process. During dormancy, plants go inactive to conserve their energy for the next growing season. This happens naturally as seasons change!

'Firefly Peach Sky' Yarrow is a stunning variety that showcases delicate light peachy-orange flowers that gradually fade to a soft yellow as they age. This captivating color transition, reminiscent of the hues found on a ripening peach, creates a harmonious blend of shades with both mature and new blooms. With its tall, upright growth habit, it stands out beautifully in gardens and is perfect for borders or mass plantings. Easy to grow and highly versatile, 'Firefly Peach Sky' Yarrow is also an excellent choice for cut or dried flower arrangements, adding a touch of elegance to any space.

Our perennial plants are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage and blooms are browning and dying back—this is completely normal! We give the plants a hard trim in our greenhouse to support them as they conserve energy for the next growing season. Rest assured, your perennials will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!

Care: Easy to grow in full sun and well-drained soil. Avoid planting in rich soil. Once flowers have faded, cut the plant back by half. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring.
