Get ready for a nonstop summer spectacle with Jolly Good™ Clematis—a free-spirited bloomer that lives up to its name. All season long, it throws a party of light purple flowers kissed with magenta undertones, each one accented by playful, eye-catching stamens that bring extra charm to the show.
This is clematis made easy: it blooms on old and new wood (no pruning panic here!), grows with gusto, and yet stays nicely compact—perfect for fences, trellises, or adding a vertical pop of color wherever you need it. Whether you're a clematis pro or just starting out, Jolly Good™ is the kind of low-fuss, high-impact plant that makes you look like a garden genius.

- Space plants 2-3 feet apart for best results
- Produces light purple flowers with magenta undertones and an eye catching stamen throughout summer
- Maintains green foliage in a climbing habit spring to frost
- Blooms on old and new wood
- Resists rabbits and disease
- Great for borders, containers, landscapes, trellises, decks or as a focal point
- Long blooming
Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Requires well-draining soil. Prefers fertile soil that is neutral or a bit alkaline. Best in full sun or light shade, keep base and roots completely shaded. "Feet in the shade, head in the sun" is a saying you may have heard for successfully growing clematis, so plant it where the vine gets sunshine but the roots stay cool. You can accomplish this with mulch, or by shading the root zone with a nearby shrub or perennial. Benefits from staking, cages, or neighboring plants for support. Each spring, they can be trimmed down to 2-3' tall, but not required.
