Unlike its airier Laguna® cousins, Royale Azure boasts a neatly rounded, compact form that makes it a favorite for gardeners who love a bit of polish with their petals. It tucks sweetly into window boxes like a well-placed accent pillow, lines sunny walkways with storybook charm, and nestles into rock gardens like a secret waiting to be discovered. But this bloom isn’t all fluff and no flair—Laguna lobelias are renowned for their surprising heat tolerance, thriving long after lesser blooms have called it quits for the summer. So while others wilt, Royale Azure keeps on shining through the warmest months, all the way from spring’s first chorus to fall’s final encore.

- Annual except in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Laguna does not like "wet feet". Be sure that you do not keep the soil wet. They will reliably bloom in warm temperatures unless night temperatures stay in the upper 70's or above. If you experience an extended time period with high night temperatures the plants may flush out of bloom, however, the plants themselves should continue to look good. If the plants do go out of flower using a sharp pair of scissors or pruning shears to give the plants a "haircut" - a slight overall trim - should encourage additional branching.
