Invincibelle Mini Mauvette® Smooth Hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens)

Once again my plants were held up for delivery by FedEx due to a poorly printed label. Plants were not DOA but are struggling to bounce back from their transit trauma. This same label problem happened last year with a large shipment of azaleas and hydrangeas that again were not DOA but did not thrive and eventually died.

So happy with this mini mauvette. Shipping was great, came well protected, healthy and leafed out. I planted May 1st and have fertilized twice, she has TONS of buds going! Super excited, wasn't really expecting a bloom on the first year.

Everything I ordered from proven winners have been well packed and the plants are healthy. The shipping costs are very high

We love the Proven Winners brand. Unfortunately when it arrived every stem was broken. Which were only 3. It was small. I’m sure it will be fine next year. Was disappointed in the look of the plant and the shape it was in when we received it.

I placed an order for (6) Miini Mauvette Invincible hydrangeas on 6/24/2025. I received the plants and acclimated them to my area for one week before planting them. The hydrangeas were planted and unfortunately they did not survive. We have photographs to show you how they are dead.
Will Proven Winners take remedial action?
I will send you photos of the dead plants on a separate message.

The Hydrangea came perfectly wrapped. Had new growth and were not wilted at all, despite the high temps of 90s. Thank you so much!

Delivery was great and condition of plant at arrival good. Deer already trimmed them but I think their dormant right now so not worried. Spring will tell.............

Shipping was fast and plants arrived in beautiful condition with the dirt intact and no broken stems. There is new green growth and they were obviously well watered prior to shipping. I can’t wait to see them bloom next year!

PW, I know you are #1 when it comes to plants. But I am so heartbroken to received my three Hydrangeas today with black spots. Please do better.

The hydrangea is lovely; however, the shipping was terrible. The plant arrived completely outside of the pot, only bare roots. There was soil, but it somehow was everywhere in the shipping box except the plant pot. Poor thing is badly traumatized, but on the mend now. This is the second hydrangea I’ve ordered from PW and the second time that my hydrangea arrived bedraggled. I love your plants but you need a new shipper.

They arrived very quickly and were in perfect condition and full of blooms. Got them planted in my garden and after a brief transplant shock initially they are doing fabulous! This is my second time ordering from Proven Winners Direct and will absolutely do so again!

Got my plants in the ground for a solid week before our first frost came. Hoping they had enough time before winter hits to take root. Plants look healthy but were not rooted in to their pots near as well as I thought they would be at this point of the season. I would consider these next seasons plants.

The plant arrived green and looking quite good for the end of summer. We'll see how it gets going next spring here in PA.

I purchased the little mauvette as a remembrance shrub. It came in bigger than expected and the recipient loved it

Excellent condition upon delivery. This is the second one of this hydrangea. Have had the first one for approximately 4 years, really like the bloom color with dark leaves, size of plant

I have two mini mauvettes in full sun all morning and shade in the afternoon, I live in zone 7b in North Carolina. I love the bloom color and the fact that they bloom early, this is their third growing season, this year one of them did something weird, half of the plant looks great and the other half has dried leaves, I’ll add the pictures for both on my hydrangeas, I will probably prune the dried branches. I would still buy this again, I love them!

I purchased the Mini Mauvette last fall (Oct. 2022) and it did die back during the winter as I know it does. I live in zone 8b and we have mild winters. It seems to be coming back with new growth in the spring. But nothing on the old wood. I am hopeful that it will bounce back soon. The picture attached is of present state in June.

The oak leaf hydrangea was damaged during packaging. Several branches were broken before I unpacked it.I took pictures of the damaged branches
