Brighten up your garden with this sunny combo! Packed with plants that thrive in the spotlight, this mix will add a burst of color and cheer to your containers or landscape. Whether you're creating a dazzling patio display or livening up a garden bed, these plants will bring a touch of sunshine to every corner! This beautiful combination is eye-catching, low maintenance, and sure to impress! It includes: Superbells Coral Sun, Luscious Goldengate lantana and Whirlwind Blue Scaevola.

We recommend planting this combination in 10"-12" containers. They will quickly grow and fill out the entire planter, although a light trim in early July will encourage even more branching! There is no easier way to bring quick color to your outdoor containers! 

The 'Sunshine State' Combination adds instant impact all on its own. There is no easier way to bring quick color to your outdoor containers! If you're interested in using the Thriller, Filler, Spiller container planting technique, our 6.5 Combinations are the perfect Filler. You can use additional Thrillers and Spillers to enhance the look but do be sure to increase your container size to at least 16"-18" allowing for better root growth and increased airflow which decreases disease pressure in the planter.

Suggested Thrillers: Graceful Grasses® Queen Tut™ Dwarf Papyrus (Cyperus prolifer)

Suggested Spillers: Proven Accents® Sweet Caroline Sweetheart Lime (Ipomoea), or Proven Accents® 'Sweet Caroline Light Green' (Ipomoea)

Care: These are heat-tolerant plants, that aren't particularly fussy and need little routine maintenance. Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best growth and color. These extra applications of plant food really make a difference in performance through the summer! If your container begins to look open or a bit tired in mid to late summer, a light trim can be very beneficial. Use a sharp pair of scissors or pruning shears to trim back a maximum of 20% of the plant to encourage more branching.

'Sunshine State' 6.5 Inch Combination

First let me say that Proven Winners has been a great company. There were problems with two of my deliveries, so I took pictures and emailed the company. They were quick to respond and send replacements or give me a refund. The individual annuals I ordered shipped on Monday, arrived Wednesday and looked good. The combinations however, were shipped out on Wednesday and didn’t arrive until Monday. Most of my order was dead. I received a replacement order but some of the replacements were completely different than what I ordered and most were dead. Two plants survived from one of my Sunshine State combinations. The Scaevola and lantana are BEAUTIFUL. I am writing this review in hopes that next season, combinations will be sent out on Monday because I would love to order this one again.

'Sunshine State' 6.5 Inch Combination

I was so disappointed in these plants. One of the three plants in each pot is was nearly dead on delivery and each of those have now succumbed. The other two plants in each plant were puny and will take long to adequately blossom as shown in your pics online. Terribly disappointed-wasted my money.
