Garden Gem is a semi-determinate, snack-size tomato that has a true heirloom taste, with modern disease resistance and high fruit yield. It has firm, juicy fruit with a smooth, balanced flavor, perfect for snacking.

Grow in the landscape or in a 14" diameter pot or larger with a cage or staking. Consistent watering and regular fertilization will be key to keeping your plant in full production mode. Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food.

Seed starting: Sow seeds indoors 1/8" deep 5-6 weeks before your local frost-free date. Transplant outdoors after threat of frost 24-30" apart at 3-8" deep. Bury the lower part of the stem for support and cage them for best results. You can expect fruit within 60-65 days.
