Please note: Our Ships Now perennials are still waking up from dormancy. In the spring, as temperatures rise and daylight hours increase, perennials begin to emerge from dormancy, pushing new shoots from their roots. Most dormant plants start showing new growth in late March or early April, depending on the specific plant and local weather conditions.

Dolce Spearmint has silvery green leaves with dark green veins. Bicolor flowers with dark pink petal tips and light pink bases bloom in Summer. This perennial is salt tolerant, long blooming, and attracts pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

  • 8-10 inches tall and 26-30 inches wide at maturity
  • Grow in zones 4-9
  • Plant in sun or shade

Our perennial plants are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage and blooms are browning and dying back—this is completely normal! We give the plants a hard trim in our greenhouse to support them as they conserve energy for the next growing season. Rest assured, your perennials will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!

Care: Trim back tattered foliage in early spring. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring.

I purchased 2 of these and have them planted underneath my crepe myrtle. They're doing GREAT and absolutely look beautiful there.

I love this plant and the color of the flower is a pinkish red with interesting silvery green leaves. Five of the six plants came in great condition, but the sixth one appeared to be “floppy” as it sat in its shipping pot. I have planted all six, but the last one has not perked up at all. I have contacted Proven Winners to discuss those.

I bought 4 of the spearmint coral bells. They arrived in great condition. The packaging for shipping kept the plants intact. I planted them in a small drift in a new bed. They did not miss a beat. They didn’t even wilt after planting. I love the silvery green foliage color. I’m looking forward to the bright blooms.

I’m very concerned. The Heuchera has been thoroughly drowned in all the rain we’ve had. The crown is unhealthy, maybe rotten, the leaves have disappeared. I’m reluctant to plant them (2), afraid I will further damage them and nearby plants, too. Only one star, I’m afraid. I usually love your gardens!
