Beautiful ! Healthy ! One already had a bloom

Beautiful ! Healthy !
One already had a bloom. Had bought one earlier and planted it with elderberry plants. They bloom at the same time, and look like a rose in a bouquet next to the tiny white elderberry blossoms.

Very healthy plants. All were in bud. Leaves have good color. I believe I do have a problem with the shipping agent; because, the plans we a some point shipped up-side-down. Plant branched we splayed out and plants were flattened. The plants were strong and are on the way to recovering. Do look a bit shoddy.
I recommend purchasing these plants.

Thank you for sharing your reviews of your plants. We are sorry to hear that they were damaged in shipping. We would be happy to replace them if you'd like, we want our customers to receive healthy plants! You can reply to this email with photos of the plants and we'd be happy to further assist you.😊

Sincerely,

I purchased a total of 5 Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon and all arrived in very healthy condition. Beautiful green leaves with nice healthy stems. Within a month they all have tons of buds with flowers that are ready to open. When I planted them they have very healthy thick root structure. They came well packed for shipping that prevented them from shifting. I’ve had flowers open and they are gorgeous! My plant I purchased last year gre well over a foot this year and blooming. I’m will say the pink has grown much faster than the Blue Chiffon for some reason. The Blue chiffon has not bloomed well either. I’m hoping it will pickup over time. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Beautiful and thriving!! Thank you for sharing your photos with us.

Pink Chiffon® Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus)

At this point, 13 days after receiving the plants, the plants still don't seem to look good. One of the plants, I don't know if it's the blue or pink, has practically, most of the leaves turn yellow which I removed. Been watering them regularly but still looks the same, the other plant looks more fuller and less yellowing of leaves. As I read in the accompanying paperwork, it is natural for them to look somewhat messed up so I don't know if it's just their natural process of restoring their energy or if the other plant is dying.
Still trying to observe what they're up to.

Annie,

Thank you for sharing!

It appears that your plants are entering the beginning stages of dormancy, which can cause leaves to drop and yellow.

Our Proven Winners plants are grown in southeast Michigan where things are getting colder, and plants are beginning their dormancy process. During dormancy, plants go inactive and conserve their energy for the next growing season.

Since you live in a warmer climate (above freezing), all you have to do is plant the shrub, and then feed and water it. Within a few weeks, signs of life will return as your plant adjusts to the warm climate.
