A beautybush beyond compare, Jolene Jolene® puts on the flower show you expect from a kolkwitzia, but at half the conventional size, so you can actually fit it into a residential landscape, or even a garden. Star-shaped pink flowers with a bright yellow throat emerge at every node to light up this tough, easy-to-grow shrub. Highly adaptable and care-free, Jolene Jolene beautybush makes an excellent flowering hedge, foundation plant, and all-purpose landscape plant.

  • 3-6 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 4-6 feet apart for best results
  • Produces light pink, star-shaped flowers from late spring into summer
  • Maintains a gracefully arching habit of green foliage from spring through fall
  • Great for borders, containers, landscapes, mass plantings, flowering hedges, foundation plantings
  • Attracts bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and resists deer
  • Dwarf variety, low maintenance

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid summer. If necessary, prune immediately after the spring bloom. It blooms on old wood and has a naturally arching habit that looks best unpruned.
