Tiny Tuff Stuff is a very hardy dwarf hydrangea that produces baby blue flowers in acidic soil and lavender-pink in more alkaline soil. The blooms tip down in a distinctive arching fashion and the shrub's narrow leaves and an abundance of flowers reliably cover the plant every summer. An excellent refined choice for landscapes, containers, borders, and wherever a delicate shape and color will compliment your plantings.

  • 1.5-2 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 5-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates and part to full sun in northern climates
  • Space plants 1.5-2 feet apart for best results
  • Maintains green foliage from spring to fall
  • Produces soft pink, lavender purple, or baby blue lace-cap flowers during summer depending on soil chemistry
  • Attracts bees and butterflies
  • Blooms on new and old wood
  • Great for containers, landscapes, edging, cut flowers, borders or as a focal points
  • Dwarf variety, continuous bloomer

Care:  Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Avoid pruning mountain hydrangeas, except to remove any dead wood. These hydrangeas cannot be cut back or trimmed at any time of the year without impacting the bloom for either the current season or the next. Soil pH affects flower color. Blooms will be its blue in acidic soils and pink in alkaline soil. Add a little aluminum sulfate if a soil test reveals that you have neutral or basic pH (7 and above).
