This compact native shrub comes alive in summer with upright spikes of fragrant white blooms that pollinators can’t resist. Its glossy dark green foliage stays fresh all season, then puts on a golden show in fall. Whether you tuck it into a shady corner or let it shine in the sun, it’s happy just about anywhere. Sugartina® ‘Crystalina’ is tough where it counts and sweet where it shows. Easygoing, reliable, and downright delightful—this is one shrub that earns its keep.

  • 2.5-3 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part shade to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 5-6 feet apart for best results

Care:  Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer.  Regular pruning isn’t needed. Shape as desired in early spring as new growth is emerging. Flower coverage, fragrance, and brilliance of fall color are at their best with at least four hours of direct exposure to the sun.
