Gardeners have come to love the double rosebud-like blossoms of our Superbells® Double calibrachoa line since its inception. Now, we’re adding an essential color to the series with the fully double-flowered, prolifically blooming, bright white Superbells® Double White. We love how it adds a beautiful lacy texture to recipes. Mix and match it with every other color and its robust, well-branched habit will help to fill out your hanging baskets, upright containers and window boxes fully. New growth quickly covers the spent flowers, so no deadheading is needed to keep this plant in color from spring into fall.

  • 6-12 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 8-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces double white flowers from planting to hard frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring through frost
  • Great for containers and hanging baskets
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds
  • Heat and drought tolerant, long blooming, fall interest, low maintenance, deadheading not required

The Eco+Grande features nutrients embedded in the container walls, which help plants grow bigger and faster throughout the season when planted in the ground. Be sure to remove the tabs from the container before planting. If you choose to plant in a container, we recommend taking the plant out of the Eco+Grande, breaking it apart, and mixing it into the soil at the time of planting. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product. Learn more about this in our blog.

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Pruning is not necessary but will help increase branching and may help your plants look even fuller.

Calibrachoa do not like to have constantly damp soil because it can lead to root rot diseases. They will do well in the ground or raised beds with good drainage. For most gardeners containers are the best use for Calibrachoa, let the top few inches of soil dry before watering again.

Didn't grow much for me. I don't think the original growing media was very good. It was different than the other plants I ordered. It seemed like it was a fiberous and soft peat of some kind. In any case the roots probably were not developed enough to have this sent out. It has struggled all summer and they are not very large. I bought four of them. I think next summer I will get white mini vistas instead.

My order was a bit smashed and stressed when it arrived. These double whites have not made it... May be due to the shipping or the hrat we have had since. The pink ones are doing well.

These white flowers look great in contrast to my purple flowers of the same type. Have taken root and are doing well.

The plants arrived very tiny this year. I was very surprised that the same size container at lowes was twice as big and even cheaper. I just don't see the benefit from buying direct if this is what I will get. FedEx didn't respect the "this end up" markings either... the dirt was spilling out of all 12 pots when I unpacked them. Not a good experience this year so far. I'm hoping the 2nd shipment delivers in much better quality and condition.
