Our deciduous shrubs are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off—this is completely normal! Shedding leaves helps the plants conserve energy and prepare for the next growing season. Rest assured, your shrubs will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. To keep it looking great, simply prune back by at least one third its total height each early spring, just as the new buds begin to emerge on the stems. Make your cut just above a thick, healthy bud, as these produce the most vigorous growth. This rose does not need deadheading in order to keep blooming.

Absolutely Perfect - Super Easy to care for and prolific blooms since planted in June and it is now October and they are still growing and blooming strong. I am not a big rose person (too much delicate care for me), but these were one of my favorite additions in 2024! Can't say enough good things about them. They get all sun after 10 am until 3 pm, Northern IL, planted in heavy clay soil, amended with some Mushroom Compost and no feeding all summer, just kept well watered.

My first Oso Easy Peasy arrived in terrible condition. PWD happily shipped out another plant, which was in great shape. However, I’m really disappointed in the flowers. They’re teeny tiny and the plant seems to be as well. I can’t imagine it growing to 30-40”. I won’t be using it where I’d planned as it’s just too small. The flowers also turn brown in the center so quickly. I had such high hopes for this rose. I want to say, though, that I am a huge fan of Proven Winners. Most all my annuals and shrubs are PW.
