For a picture-perfect hanging basket or container, try Supertunia Mini Vista® Midnight. It has small deep purple to black flowers that bloom all season. With their vigorous growth and slightly mounded shape, they’re the perfect plants to serve as both fillers and spillers in containers, overflowing with vibrant color all season long. They are also excellent landscape plants, best suited near the front of beds. Their compact yet spreading habit makes them ideal for creating a lush, colorful border or a standout spot in your landscape design. With non-stop blooms and a low-maintenance nature, these petunias will fill your garden with delightful color and texture, blooming through sun and heat without skipping a beat.

  • 6-12 inches tall and 18-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Give a light trim anytime you think it's needed or at least once in July and once in August. Never trim off more than 20% of the branches.

Received with a couple of blooms on it. Very dark purple and beautiful color. In transplanting it quit blooming for a couple of weeks & has just started to bloom again. Probably next spring, I would definitely order it again.

I loved putting 3 Supertunia Black Cherries, 3 White Knight Sweet Alyssums and 3 Supertunia Mini Vista Midnights in each of the two hanging baskets. He hung them on his front porch entry and he loved them.

What is the policy on receiving wilted and lifeless plants?
I ordered 2 Supertunia Mini Vista® Midnight (Petunia).
Plants arrived wilted and lifeless. I immediately transplanted them into my patio boxes with some closed cares using the Proven Winners water soluble fertilizer and their slow release fertilizer; hoping that they will bounce back. Unfortunately, it only got worse. Currently, it is only 2 dead plants.

I’m in zone 10 and it’s been 100 F but still doing very well. Not as vigorous as other vistas, more dense and tight. Velvety dark purple blooms. Love!

When it arrived, it was kind of flat on top but it trimmed it to a round shape. I’m in zone 10 and it’s been over 100f but still doing very well. Dark and velvety flowers. Not as vigorous as other vista, a bit smaller in overall size but sturdy stems with lots of blooms.

This plant arrived a few days ago in rough shape. I decided to inspect the roots and soil since it was likely not going to survive. It was infested with small white slugs. The other 5 petunias that I received in the same shipment are in similar shape and had these same small white slugs in the soil.
A few weeks ago I received several other shipments of these petunias from proven winners direct, and planted them thinking the small white round things were fertilizer. Since then, these slugs have eaten my fig trees and 40 dahlia plants.

I ordered two mini vista supertunias midnight. The plants were a little droopy and no blooms. I have fed them, they’re in the sun and hopefully will bloom soon. The superbells, coleus and sedum in the same pot are doing beautifully!

I had ordered coleus (4) and Supertunia. None of these arrived in good condition. They had broken branches,
looked like they had been pushed down. I was especially disappointed in the Supertunia, which I had been really excited to see and grow. Every branch was broken, including the ones with buds. It has been planted but looks terrible and I doubt it will survive. I expected more from Proven
Winners.
The Coleus looked a bit better but they too had broken branches and broken leaves in the pots. I think they will revive but in the meantime I have some plants on my deck that don’t look so great.

The Coral Vista Superbells had broken stems and are not adjusting in fact I don’t think are going to make it. All the other Supertunias are transitioning well and looking well.
The Vermillionaire Cuphea are all doing really good and adjusted well. Can’t wait for them to mature and blossom for the hummingbird's

Not sure why the Coral Superbells didn’t do as well as the others
