Superbena® Violet Ice displays vigorous purple flowers all season. With a mounding-trailing habit, they function as both spillers and fillers in combination planters and are best planted at the front of landscape beds. It is heat tolerant, resists deer, and attracts butterflies.

  • 6-12 inches tall and 18-30 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 8-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full to part sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 10-14 inches apart for best results
  • Produces violet purple flowers during planting to frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring to frost
  • Great for borders, containers, groundcover, landscapes, mass plantings
  • Attracts butterflies and resists deer
  • Continuous blooming, long blooming, fall interest, heat tolerant, deadheading not necessary

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. They shouldn't need to be trimmed back but can be pruned to shape anytime if desired.

Beautiful color

This is the first year we got this color, maybe first year available? I paired these with the new Supertunia Vista Cool Jazz and they are beautiful together. We planted in 2 blue pots on each side of our patio door and they are doing well, but a pot out in the bright sun went absolutely crazy with blooms! We couldn't ask for more. These plants love the sun.
