Sunstar Lavender displays large clusters of lavender flowers on dark green foliage all season. Pentas is best grown in good, moist soil, but it can tolerate poorer soils as well. It attracts pollinators, does not require deadheading, and is disease resistant.
- 18-22 inches tall and 16-24 inches wide at maturity
- Annual except in zones 11-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
- Plant in full to part sun (4+ hours daily)
- Space plants 10-14 inches apart for best results
- Produces purple flowers during planting to frost

Care: Deadheading is not necessary for continued bloom, prune to shape as desired. Pentas is best grown in good, moist soil, but it can tolerate poorer soils as well. They prefer a pH close to 7, so consider amending soil with pelletized lime if planting in an area with highly acidic soil. They are quite heat tolerant. Fertilize weekly for best performance.
