These are some of my favorite annuals. They withstand son with a little burning, but do great in part shade, which I have a lot of. I tend to do one type of plant per pot, so I’ll do one pot this with one pot of impatience and a pot of Marigold’s down low in front and it makes a fantastic display. The Marigold struggle a little, but I’ve been having a hard time finding yellow annuals that will withstand part shade.

The other thing to know is these are hummingbird attractors so if you’re trying to have a more natural garden while still looking like you’ve put some work in these guys make it easy. They just take a lot of water so I plant them with water storing crystals so I’m not watering twice a day.
