Bright Lights Red displays large red flowers all season. Mounded habits really hold the flowers up for great flower presence. Brights Lights are great in both landscapes and containers. 

  • 8-12 inches tall and wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 6-10 inches apart for best results
  • Produces red daisy flowers from planting to hard frost
  • Maintains green foliage in a mounding habit spring through frost
  • Great for borders, containers, edging, landscapes, mass planting
  • Heat tolerant, long blooming, deadheading not necessary, fall interest

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Bright Lights do not like having wet feet and will react badly to constantly wet soil. Be sure to allow the soil in containers to dry on top before watering and only plant in beds with good drainage. While it shouldn't be necessary you can trim your plants at any time.

Bright Lights™ Red African Daisy (Osteospermum)

This applies to the geraniums only. I received 6 geraniums. All 6 had broken stems. I would say about 50% or more of the stems were broken which included the actual flowers. Of course, all of the flowers are very skimpy. I sure hope they come back to look like they should. I purchased geraniums earlier this year and they were in good condition. I was very disappointed in this last shipment. It appeared as if the packer shoved them into the box.

Bright Lights™ Red African Daisy (Osteospermum)

I couldn’t find the flowers I wanted locally so I ordered from PW Direct. Great prices, huge selection and they arrived at the right time to plant in my zone. And, they landed on my porch in good condition and all of the plants were healthy. So, now I know where I’m getting plants next year and I intend to branch out with some PW perennials.
