I purchased 5 Sonic Bloom Pink Weigela

I purchased 5 Sonic Bloom Pink Weigela. They arrived when they said they would arrive, and packaged very well. 4 made it into the ground (in the space I had), and one is still doing well in the small container it arrived in. This in the ground, 3 out of the 4 are thriving - one is a bit floppy still. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, and wish I had more patience because I want to see them in bloom NOW!!

Question: Can I continue the 5th Weigela in a larger container pot and plant next year when I have a better in-ground space? Thanks

Yes, you can keep the fifth Weigela in a larger container and plant it in the ground next year when you have more space. Just ensure it's well-watered and receives enough sunlight. 😊

Beautiful spring blooms but the growth pattern of the branches is very erratic with some long/tall awkward branches sticking up in an unattractive way. Is there a way to keep I a bit more uniform and compact? Not like a tightly trimmed boxwood; just so that there is a little more uniformity in the shape?

I love how much care they put into taking care of their plants and into the packaging they ship it in; you can tell they care. I will definitely be ordering from them again. Thanks, Proven Winners!

I ordered the 8 weigela plants back on may 10. I ordered 6 red blooming Weigela plants and 2 pink weigela plants. They were not labeled pink or red in the box so I had no clue which was which. They were in bad shape from the shipping but after a long time it appears all will live. It was touch and go for a couple of them but they have finally began to grow. But it appears that I received all red weigela plants and no pink weigela. Very disappointing that you are unable to receive what was ordered and the poor shape the plants were in upon arrival. Not sure I will purchase from Proven Winners again.

Well it is going on 3 months since I planted. Can’t believe how well they are growing. Tickled they have been in bloom for about 3 weeks.

The birds are loving their space. Next year should be amazing with the additional growth. Even Blue Jays are showing up now.

You can see the before and now difference.

Wow! Stunning!! We are so happy to see that your Sonic Bloom® Pink (Weigela) are blooming and thriving in their new home. <3

These arrived yesterday. All 5 were in excellent condition. Couldn’t wait to get them planted today. Replaced some different plants that didn’t make it through the winter. Looking forward to watching them grow . Hoping I allowed them enough space to spread out. The birds are wanting some privacy for bath time. Don’t forget to get your fertilizer!!!!

Thank you for sharing!! Enjoy 😍
