Snippet® weigelas are the best thing to happen to this spring-blooming favorite in years: they rebloom abundantly and naturally grow as a dwarf, rounded mound. They fit perfectly in just about any sunny spot in your landscape to add appealing structure and months of color. Snippet Dark Pink weigela has thick, deep green foliage that perfectly sets off the vivid pink blooms. They appear in late spring along with other weigelas, but then they continue to bloom all through summer with waves of fresh flowers. No deadheading required!

  • 1-2 feet tall and 1-2 feet wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 1-2 feet apart for best results
  • Maintains thick, dark green foliage from spring to frost on a miniature, tidy habit
  • Produces abundant dark pink flowers in waves from spring through summer
  • Blooms on old wood
  • Great for borders, containers, edging, landscapes, mass plantings, focal points
  • Attracts hummingbirds, resists both deer and rabbits
  • Continuous blooming, long blooming, miniature habit

Some of the plants are great. One in particular is pathetically tiny and won't survive the first time there's wind. I emailed Proven Winners with pictures. I got a case number but still haven't recieved a response.

Thank you for sharing! I am happy to see Sam set you up with a replacement order and responded to you on 4/9. 😊

I bought several this year so, they are only a couple of months old. So far, I’m very pleased. They look great and have survived a very strange Spring and early summer of extreme wet to extreme heat. I only gave them 4 stars because I’ve had them a short time but, hoping they’re a 5 star after a year.

Thank you for your review! 😊
