The pleasing flowers of Ringo All-Star™ rose may look simple at first, but this plant packs in a lot of interest! These flowers start out a rich melon-orange with a cherry-red center and transform to lavender and pink, creating a look of multiple colors on one plant. A crown of fluffy yellow anthers bedecks the center and attracts pollinators. Ringo All-Star is disease resistant and low maintenance. No need to trim or deadhead to keep those fabulous flowers coming all season!

  • 2-3 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 3 feet apart for best results
  • Maintains green foliage from spring to frost
  • Produces orange to red flowers throughout summer
  • Blooms on new wood
  • Attracts bees and butterflies
  • Great for landscapes, border plant, cut flower, mass planting, specimen or focal point
  • Long blooming, disease resistant, low maintenance

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid summer. To keep it looking great, simply prune back by at least one third its total height each early spring, just as the new buds begin to emerge on the stems. Make your cut just above a thick, healthy bud, as these produce the most vigorous growth.

Customers praised the healthy, well-packaged delivery and beautiful color changes. However, several noted this variety is less hardy and prolific than original versions, with slow growth and few blooms. Size management proved challenging as plants exceeded 5 feet despite pruning, and thorns were exceptionally sharp.

These are not nearly as hardy or prolific as the original Ringo Roses. I have three and they quadruple in size twice a year, lol. I won't try this color variety again--planted in the same soil and conditions.

Thank you for sharing!! I am happy to see we have issued Store Credit.

I have many roses doing well, this one has been a disappointment. Few blooms, slow to increase. It's alive, that's about it.

Thank you for sharing. We're sorry to hear this and are happy to help! Please respond to this email with photos of your rose's current conditions and we can further assist you!

Everything about this plant is gorgeous. I absolutely love the color changes in the flowers and it produces lots of hips for fall and winter. However I have had 2 problems. Even with severe cutting back in spring it gets over 5 feet. I cut it back in late September of this year because it was so out of it's alloted space and it still put on another 2 feet. Pruning is where the other problem arose. It has the most vicious thorns of any plant I know. I'm over 70 and was looking for a small easy care rose with all the ornamental aspects this plant has, but it will be coming out. Very disappointed.

Karen,

As always, Proven Winners direct provided me with awesome plants.
We have already had snow. There is one little bloom already but Mother Nature is making it difficult for it to mature. Looking forward to spring.
