Oso Easy® Urban Legend® is a true standout with its vibrant, true-red, semi-double flowers that begin in early summer and continue blooming through the first hard frost. The center of each bloom features a crown of lush yellow stamens, creating a striking contrast and adding extra interest to your garden. This disease-resistant rose attracts bees and thrives with minimal care – no deadheading or spraying required. A perfect choice for effortless, colorful garden appeal!

  • 5-3 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 2.5-3 feet apart for best results
  • Produces bright red double flowers with contrasting yellow stamen throughout summer
  • Maintains glossy green foliage from spring to frost
  • Blooms on new wood
  • Great for landscapes, borders, hedges and mass planting
  • Attracts bees and butterflies
  • Reblooming, compact habit, disease resistant
  • Shrubs shipped Nov-Apr will arrive dormant; shrubs shipped Apr-Oct will arrive green or in bloom

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid summer. To keep it looking great, simply prune back by at least one third its total height each early spring, just as the new buds begin to emerge on the stems. Make your cut just above a thick, healthy bud, as these produce the most vigorous growth. This rose does not need deadheading in order to keep blooming.

Requires frequent pruning to maintain shape

This was by far the most vigorous growing of the three Oso Easy Landscape Rose colors I ordered. From quart size to 3-4 feet in the first year, requiring frequent pruning as the branches tend to go out side ways instead of upward.

love Urban Legends rose!

I have had this rose variety planted in two other places on our 15 A so I know the variety well. It arrived well packaged and in good condition.

I only got the court size so they're not very big but they look healthy and they were packed really well so there was no damage on the trip here!

I like that it has a lot of leaves but it doesnt have any blooms or buds on them. Now it is growing some red foliage on the top so I know it’s doing well.
