Invincibelle Mini Mauvette® has deep pink-mauve blooms every year in early summer and continues through frost for an endless supply of flowers - even in colder climates. With its strong stems and tidy, rounded, dwarf habit, Invincibelle Mini Mauvette is a very versatile plant for landscaping or adding to containers. This native of North America is great as a cut flower, fresh or dried.

  • 2.5-3 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 3-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates and part to full sun in northern climates
  • Space plants 2.5-3 feet apart for best results
  • Produces pink-mauve flowers throughout summer
  • Maintains dark green foliage spring to frost
  • Blooms on new wood
  • Great for borders, containers, edging, landscapes, hedges, cut and dried flowers
  • Native to North America, long blooming, deadheading not necessary, dwarf variety

Care:  Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prefers well-drained soil that does not remain soggy for any amount of time. To prune, simply cut back by one-third of its total height every spring, just as new growth begins to emerge on stems. Make cuts just about 1/4 of an inch above a bud. Dead or damaged wood can be removed at any time.

Customers praised the healthy, well-packaged plants "in absolutely fantastic shape" with strong growth potential. However, shipping inconsistencies caused stress—some arrived wilted, with broken stems, or outside pots. Gallon-sized plants performed better than quarts. Many customers appreciated responsive customer service when issues arose.

Once again my plants were held up for delivery by FedEx due to a poorly printed label. Plants were not DOA but are struggling to bounce back from their transit trauma. This same label problem happened last year with a large shipment of azaleas and hydrangeas that again were not DOA but did not thrive and eventually died.

So happy with this mini mauvette. Shipping was great, came well protected, healthy and leafed out. I planted May 1st and have fertilized twice, she has TONS of buds going! Super excited, wasn't really expecting a bloom on the first year.

Thank you for sharing Garden Friend! Happy Spring, Enjoy!!

not like my other hydrangeas!

I purchased 3 minis this spring and was excited to get them in the ground. they came looking pretty healthy, but I have not even had one bloom from any of the plants. maybe next year?

Thank you for sharing your experience. Sometimes hydrangeas need time before they bloom, so fingers crossed for next year! If you'd like, you can send us pictures of your plants at HelpDesk@ProvenWinnersDirect.com — we're here to help.😊🌺

The 1-gallon plants arrived in absolutely fantastic shape. They are large, robust, full, and clearly well-cared for before shipping. I’m incredibly impressed with the quality of the larger pots and can't wait to get them in the ground.
On the other hand, the quart-size plants are currently struggling a bit. They arrived looking pretty stressed and weak compared to their larger counterparts. I'm hoping a little extra water, shade, and time to acclimate will help them bounce back, but they definitely need some extra TLC right now.
Overall, Proven Winners' packaging kept everything secure, and the gallon plants are top-tier. I just wish the quart sizes had arrived with the same level of vigor. Still a great place to order plants, and I'm hopeful the little guys will pull through!

We love the Proven Winners brand. Unfortunately when it arrived every stem was broken. Which were only 3. It was small. I’m sure it will be fine next year. Was disappointed in the look of the plant and the shape it was in when we received it.

I placed an order for (6) Miini Mauvette Invincible hydrangeas on 6/24/2025. I received the plants and acclimated them to my area for one week before planting them. The hydrangeas were planted and unfortunately they did not survive. We have photographs to show you how they are dead.
Will Proven Winners take remedial action?
I will send you photos of the dead plants on a separate message.

Unfortunately the plant arrived very wilted, I tried to salvage it, but it just didn't make it and it died with-in a week. Terribly disappointed, and won't be ordering directly from them again. As there return policy is that you can't return the product, unless you return it the same day. Wish I had done that, as a gallon for 50.00 is ALOT-when I could have spent a similar amount at a nursery for the same amount and gotten a healthy plant.

Thank you for sharing your review of your Invincibelle Mini Mauvette® Smooth Hydrangea. We're not sure where you heard that about our policy, but it is not true. We do not accept returns, but all of our shrubs and perennials have a one year guarantee as long as they are planted in one of their correct zones. Please reply to this email with photos of the plant and we can further assist you!

The Hydrangea came perfectly wrapped. Had new growth and were not wilted at all, despite the high temps of 90s. Thank you so much!
Planted next day and already looking established. See video review on You Tube, Garden in the woods, Hydrangea Haul.

Thank you for the video review! Happy planting!😊

Shipping was fast and plants arrived in beautiful condition with the dirt intact and no broken stems. There is new green growth and they were obviously well watered prior to shipping. I can’t wait to see them bloom next year!

The hydrangea is lovely; however, the shipping was terrible. The plant arrived completely outside of the pot, only bare roots. There was soil, but it somehow was everywhere in the shipping box except the plant pot. Poor thing is badly traumatized, but on the mend now. This is the second hydrangea I’ve ordered from PW and the second time that my hydrangea arrived bedraggled. I love your plants but you need a new shipper.

They arrived very quickly and were in perfect condition and full of blooms. Got them planted in my garden and after a brief transplant shock initially they are doing fabulous! This is my second time ordering from Proven Winners Direct and will absolutely do so again!

The 6 hydrangeas I ordered came packaged with little to no protection. 4 of them jammed into one box! The majority of them looked like they had been drop-kicked off a climb. They had many broken limbs & leaves. I reached out to Proven Winners 3 days ago so far work no response back. I spent too much money < almost $300 on this order> with this company to experience this lack of care from them!! I've been patiently waiting for a response back with a resolution but my patience is not eternal.

Got my plants in the ground for a solid week before our first frost came. Hoping they had enough time before winter hits to take root. Plants look healthy but were not rooted in to their pots near as well as I thought they would be at this point of the season. I would consider these next seasons plants.

Karen,

Thank you for sharing!!

Since you are located in zone 5, your shrubs have begun the dormancy process. These should return the following spring when the weather warms up, after your spring frost date.

Enjoy!
